"Very Large property which over looks a lake / inlet from the Atlantic. Enjoyed sitting outside on the deck having breakfast, which was very very good. Each day a different meat dish. Staff was very frendley and professional. Close to the Helfax downtown area, but far enough so you're not dealing with all that comes with it. Room are nice, small but nice, and Hot Water, wow, if you like hot water and excellent water pressure, won't be disappointed. If you forget your shampoo/ soap, no worries, every room has it for you, and I'm not talking the little bottles. I will say they had a problem with one of only 2 elevators, so we only had 1, which caused long wait times to get up or down..One more thing, the employees they take pride in their property. I observed one employee walking to work, as she got to the property, she picked up some trash that was along the property. Wow, that's what I call pride, reliable, professional and someone with alot of integrity. "

"The bed and pillows were so comfortable! We stayed for 3 nights and hardly wanted to get out of bed each morning. The bed was made every day for us, stock replenished and towels changed. It was really one of the best hotel stays I've had! The pool was clean, the staff were so attentive and accommodating. The cannery food was great. No complaints from us! Would stay again, 100%"
