I saw Grand Horizon advertised last year and it had been on my radar for a short break without the kids.
I booked this trip at Christmas and we have been looking forward to it since then.
I genuinely cannot find fault with Grand Horizon, and cannot understand a lot of the negative comments in the reviews.
This is our 4th holiday to Gran Canaria (6th in the Canaries) and hands down, this hotel is the nicest by far.

"A very good choice of accommodation in the cozy village of Mogan. Just a 10 minute walk down to the harbor where there are a lot of nice restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy, the rooms nice with comfortable beds. The reception staff were very responsive and helpful.
Would definitely book this hotel again!"

Having a spar on site for groceries was so convenient and we couldn’t fault the facilities. We had the breakfast buffet on our first morning and it was fantastic. Check in upon arrival was an hour after the booking said and when asked what we should do whilst we waited we were just told explore with no indication of direction. The pools are heated to 28 degrees and all 3/4 are lovely. Staff enjoy their jobs. Service is perfect.

The hotel is in excellent condition and offers all the luxuries you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered lots of choice and overall was very satisfactory. We requested a sea view room on the right side of the hotel to enjoy the afternoon and evening sun which we received. The pool areas were very nice with plenty of sun beds and shade if required....
