"The Art Hotel was not very Artsy - a few odd canvas around - our room had some really ugly print from that look like it was from Ikea - as an Art lover was not impressed they should change the name of the hotel to not mention Art really does not fit this hotel - our room has a moldy/wet smell in it - the internet was not secure and just open was not the best - they only give you one room key regardless of how many people are in the room even when we asked they said 1 room key per room - the pool...

"If you are looking for a great location with a view (the crooked houses are directly out the window across the canal), then this is your place. HOWEVER, the deferred maintenance on this place is overwhelming...worn carpet, sconces hardly hanging from the wall at bedside, rotten wood at the windows, hardware missing from worn out furniture... Let's just say that the pictures look much better than the actual accommodations we experienced. The manager on duty was friendly when he was there."

"Stayed for four nights as a family with a 10 and 12 year old. Had a room with a loft which was great, the stairs were a bit precarious but otherwise the room was clean and quiet. Check in was smooth and efficient. Lots of dining and grocery options in town. Loved the stay. "

"Group of 4 stayed here. Been to Amsterdam 5 times and this is the best place I've stayed in. Martin was a gem. He went above and beyond looking after us. The beds were so comfortable. Little mini bar and snacks was great. Location was in the heart of the action, but yet quite enough to sleep well ( the drink helped as well) the bar is lovely a snug. All staff very nice. We'll be back. Thanks for a great weekend."

"The Pillows Boutique resort in Amsterdam was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel was clean, the staff were extremely friendly, location was mostly quiet, in the park district of Amsterdam. The old building was nicely renovated with a view of the park behind. We did not eat at the restaurant, although we ordered room service one day and the food was reasonably priced and very good. "
