"What an amazing place to stay. A unique setting (being a converted prison) and close by to everything you need. It’s literally 5 minutes to the ferry to Estonia. Slightly longer than that and you’ve walked to the Ferris wheel, outdoor market, etc. The staff were amazingly helpful. They were informative, friendly, warm and welcoming. I loved my stay. 100% would stay again."

"Amazing value for money, Citybox is a beautiful hotel with a luxurious designer feel. The rooms are very spacious, the kitchen/dining/chillout area in the lobby is so handy with microwaves and fridges to store your food. The location is superb, in a lovely quiet neighbourhood just a 15 to 20 minute walk or a quick metro/tram ride to the centre of the city and its attractions. Lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. It was the ideal retreat to return to at the end of a day's...

"Interesting property both outside and in the rooms. Location was great for us as it was on a main road from the airport to the city. Staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious but you need to upgrade from the standard ones to cater for international passengers and their baggage. Best of all was the fantastic hot tub, spa and pool area. Sat outside in the snow in the hot tub-what a great memory."

"Great base for working at Aalto University. I stay here regularly for work trips and keep coming back. The studio has everything you need — kitchen with full-size fridge and stove, good shower, quiet room. You can actually live and work here, not just sleep. K-Market right downstairs so you can stock your kitchen the moment you arrive. Sauna and gym are a nice bonus after a long day. Walking distance to Aalto campus. Best value hotel I've found in the Helsinki area."
