The Room was clean and in good condition. Checking in was not easy, I arrived at the hotel on a Sunday around 1230h and the entrance was locked, I rang the bell multiple times to no avail. Somebody finally open the door around 1400h. This hotel appear to be a family business and the owner do not speak English. This created a problem while checking out, even though I had sent a request to the hotel to change the checking out date (one day early) through the hotel.com website, as requested by the website because I had chosen to pay the hotel directly. On the day of checking out, from was I was able to understand, the hotel manager did not want me to checkout early as they had no notification from hotel.com and kept saying that I had to call Expedia. So I called hotel.com and explain the situation. They tried to call the front desk of the hotel but as nobody could speak English at the front desk, the hotel.com person told me that he could not help. As I was getting late for an important meeting I had to pay the extra day to be able to check out. Further attempt to resolved the issue with hotel.com on my return home failed. I later learned while talking with them, that you also have to called them if you make a change to your booking even though this is not indicated on their website.
