Great stay at Hacienda Elcantada
We enjoyed our stay as first time visitors to Cabo. The resort property is beautiful. The rooms were very clean but need an update. The variety of restaurants at the resort as an all inclusive was ample. A plus was three additional restaurants down at the marina were also available to us. We loved Jack’s at the marina! Overall the food was good at each venue and the service was excellent except for one night at Barolo on the property where our server was overwhelmed with several large parties. The property is very hilly so there is golf cart service provided to get around if you need it. If you have real trouble walking—it’s probably not for you. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. Finally, the all inclusive plan was very generous and we felt it was an excellent value.

It was a lovely property with attentive staff. The food and drinks were excellent. However as a first timer when they offer you a tour in exchange for being able to buy tickets for an activity at a low price do not do it. It's a trap for a timeshare presentation. They tell you it's a tour then the next thing you know they are trying to sell you a timeshare. Other than that everything was good.

Beautiful and breathtaking views. Love the variety of the scenery and customer service was top notch. However did not like being called rude by one of the ladies at the lobby when declining to do the timeshare presentation and activities they offered at a discount ONLY if you attended the presentation. We had all of our activities booked in advanced and didn’t want to take no for an answer. Our cleaning staff was awesome and our bell boy JAREDade the experience over the top AMAZING!!! This property scammed me out of 400$ even after staying at the resort. They have a no refund policy that bids no mercy even if you accidentally schedule the wrong day. Morally and ethically, this place only wants your money and they want to do it providing the least amount of value they possibly can.
