The rooms are all new and nice. The food overall was good. Check in process was long with a cold vibe. The desk agent neglected to advise a lot of needed info that I found out later, including hidden charges on some mini bar and menu items. Other guests I met told me the same. Their all inclusive system involves receiving an itemized bill with costs that I had to sign for every purchase. Even a soft drink. One of the hostesses said it was “so they can keep track if anything happens.” Not sure what can “happen” but it seems that even seeing these amounts added anxiety and was a long process at times which defeated the purpose of all inclusive. In general, the staff were under trained and seemed stressed which also made them seem not so nice. The 4 night stay was actually very disappointing, given the amount that was paid.

Overall the hotel is very nice. However, they haven’t figured out some basics about the meaning of “all inclusive.” Having to pay for a number of items on various menus, all wine, and room service delivery amongst other things. The food was delicious but you are inevitably going to wait to get it. Service at the restaurants was notoriously slow but all of the staff was very nice. Overall it’s a nice place, and having an upgraded toilet with bidet was a true luxury. I’d like to stay here again, but some improvements need to be made.

Where do I begin. I started my stay at the Viceroy (excellent amenities highly suggested) but decided to try this new hotel based upon Expedia results. To my dismay upon check in I was advised that my all inclusive was not all inclusive, you had to pay additional for certain liquor and food, not disclosed before arrival. My second issue the shower did not work, the rain-head had no water pressure so you could only use the handicap accessible shower head but that barely had pressure and no hot water. Fourthly you must request new towels, their policy preference is that you reuse them to conserve water, being that they have no hot water it makes me wonder how they clean their linens. My fifth issue upon popping into my room to grab my wife’s jacket after dinner and found room service maid attempting to rummage through our things. I asked why she was in our room she advised turndown service but our room was already turned down right before dinner. By chance we ran into two other people staying who experienced an actual robbery, one of which the staff took money and personal items twice within the first day of their stay. Management is dismissive to complaints to busy trying to sell you timeshares…yes by the way they don’t advise in advance this is a timeshare community so your plagued with constant sales pitches in the lobby. The good kid friendly pools and nice views but the bad far outweigh the better. I suggest spending your hard earned dollars elsewhere, safety first.

The property itself is beautifully made which is what made us want to try it out. I have been to Cabo and Cancun multiple times but I have never had this much issues with a resort as I had with them. The hotel itself is not ready to be open, construction is going on and on no gift ship open or 24 hour deli just in case ur hungry… all inclusive but not after 1030 for room service and the hotel is dead! No music by the pool barely activity going on and they “ran out of tequila” 3 of our rooms had issues.. multiple time we had random workers walk in for no reason and when speaking to manager about it they said they will look into it but it’s not safe at all.. they have no system in place and seemed clueless on how to run a resort. Only good thing about the place was the steak house which mad our stay somewhat better, great service and great food and drinks. All the workers there were amazing thank you to them for doing something special for our birthday without us saying anything and for welcoming us the way I should have been welcomed at front desk.. also to olger at breakfast he made great drinks and alma by the pool. Some ppl know what they r doing.. but the rest need to get it together if they ever want people to go there again.

Upon arrival to the hotel, we noticed the hotel was in pristine condition- brand new and very clean! We were greeted graciously, but things went downhill from there. When we got to our suite, we noticed there was a sewer smell. We were hoping this would go away but it lingered the whole stay. We had a really difficult time communicating with staff. We have stayed at resorts in the area prior and understand there can be a language barriers, but we had a really hard time just getting simple things like drinks or towels. Multiple times our order would be taken and was forgotten/staff never came back with requested items. It took awhile to be greeted and to order at the restaurants. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We loved the hotel and how modern and beautiful the rooms were but we did not like the location. It was near freeway and we could hear the cars loudly. We reserved a one bedroom ocean view room and the ocean view rooms have the freeway in the background, I should have changed my room to the rooms on the sides but they are partial ocean view which they sell them as ocean view. The staff were very nice Victor in the pool area was excellent he found my son's cell phone in a heart beat. Alex in Aqua Fitness was very friendly and made an amazing impact with her Aqua fitness class in infinity pool area. There were more nice and mazing staff which I do not remember their names. They are not 100 percent functioning and I am pretty sure when it is completely done it should be even better.
