They overbook rooms
I experienced severe inconvenience. I arrived at the hotel on Dec 29 after a long journey. Tevana refused my confirmed pre-paid booking saying they were already fully booked and that the Hotels.com platform had screwed up and sold me a room at this property even though the hotel was full. Tevana's listed phone number is a non-working number so hotels.com rep was unable to reach them during this emergency. The employees who work there are all very nice decent people but they say the owner lives in Singapore and only he is responsible for fixing the phone lines. I spent several hours on long distance calls to usa with hotels.com to try to get a refund and find alternate accommodation. Will never book here again.
