This is a very interesting place to stay. The inn was built in 1805, according to Wikipedia. There are seven rooms on the third floor. The second floor is vacant, and the only thing on the first floor is a barbershop. That was convenient, I booked a needed shave with Erica down there. It’s a separate business, but I was pleased with the service, and Erica was very friendly.
I did not see any hotel staff, the only interaction was thorough check-in instructions via text when I booked. There is coffee available in the hallway. The grill has been shut down for two years, from what I gather. I chose to get iced coffee from the Uncommon Cow, a little over minute walk to the north. They have excellent iced coffee, and also had breakfast sandwiches and baked goods ready to go, which I did not try. Overall, wouldn’t here again. I wouldn’t book a romantic getaway.
