BIG4 Launceston Holiday Park
"Amazing stay with our family of four! The cabin was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed — comfy beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and a gorgeous view we enjoyed every morning with coffee. The kids loved the space, we loved the peace and quiet. Highly recommend!"
Art Hotel on York
"This was a very special find, with off street parking, and walking distance to everything. The room was so beautiful, with lovely bed and beautiful bathroom, and the staff and general feel was so welcoming. When I come back for another visit, I will stay again, highly recommended."
Best Western Plus Launceston
"Have stayed a couple of times now… love locations nearby.. will stay again.."
Hotel Grand Chancellor Launceston
"All was in order as usual as a returning guest to the Hotel Grand Chancellor. Perhaps, and only a minor point a few more 'handicapped' designated parking spots could be made available?, during my stay I did see a number of guests that could avail of such dedicated parking spots, as I found there was was only one in the entire carpark"
Village Family Motor Inn
"My son and I stayed at the Motor Inn for 4 nights. The room itself had quite a bit of space in it with two beds - one queen & the other single. The bed that I slept on was unfortunately a bit hard & made my back sore. There was also power points but not enough next to the beds. Two little bed side tables were a great idea. There was also a small table & 2 chairs and tea making facilities with kettle & toaster. The shower was slightly temperamental but once adjusted the temperature was great. It would have been nice if the toilet roll holder was placed in a better location as everytime I used it I had to twist my body and the metal holder would fall off. Then hence I was continually reach to pick it up from the floor. Our bin was overflowing as no one came to change it. It was quite noisy as our room was located right at the back of the inn. One morning a truck came at about 5.30 am & made a crashing sound and woke us up. My son & I enjoyed the pool and spa which were both nice and warm. Each Room had it's own vertical parking which was enough for our hired vehicle. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back thanks."
Nightcap at Riverside Hotel

"Clean comfortable room in great location"
Commodore Regent Launceston
"Very handy to the city, quiet at night."

During your visit, you can explore stunning waterfalls, enjoy scenic walks in natural parks, and experience the warmth of the friendly locals. Don't miss the opportunity to sample delicious local wines, take a refreshing swim in the river, and savour a cup of coffee while enjoying the inviting atmosphere. By staying updated, you’ll be among the first to know about any price drops or room availability for your getaway.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, having some flexibility with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in Launceston. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we’ll suggest alternative dates that might be more affordable, increasing the likelihood that you’ll save.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Launceston's superb public transport links, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located a bit further out that remains well-connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even some lesser-known nearby towns, there is often great value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
