Budget accommodation, had the basics, plenty of parking and less than 10 minutes walk to the main area for shopping and food. My 3rd stay.

Budget friendly option if staying in the area. The staff are very friendly, the amenities seem to be nice, rooms are adequate for the price, the linen is clean and very soft. No complaints, will stay again.

It had a railway ambience and some historical value and can hear the sound of rain on the roof. Far from the freeway but close to the centre of town and easy walk to shops and restaurants.

A pleasant overnight stay. Very simple, small room, but that was all that was required. Good price

Very surprised. Not your average Aussie motel. Layout and decor very different for a reasonable price.

Very quiet location… ten minute walk from railway station… nearby to town centre, and bowls club next door has good meals.

Loved the old railway theme and antique chairs and stained glass windows in the main building. Quiet clean and good for a night stay, and bonus you’re helping preserve history.

This place is great for a stopover when travelling. It’s definitely quirky which is fine adding a bit of interest. The owners were helpful and accommodating of late check in. It’s basic but everything in the room was very clean. I would stay again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Place is very clean, convenient, friendly staff and plenty of parking. Short stroll to the town and the restaurants. I was super happy with my stay and great value for money. As per the photos, rooms are not flashy but does the job well.

The managers live on site and as a solo traveller I always feel very safe when I stay there. The rooms are really clean and the beds are comforatble. The Railway Lodge is not on the noisy highway, like most motels in Taree. I always have a great sleep & now there is a light breakfast included in the very reasonable rate. I enjoy the great value and genuine hospitality.

Okay for an overnight stay, thats it tho.
Walking distance to town amenities. Bowling club sub 200m away. Converted railway workers quarters. Beds very firm. Wifi slow speeds due to brick walls, manager suggested hot spot. No toaster, just kettle n mini fridge.
