The room has been cleaned and the carpet still wet when we arrived. The clean was not 100% but okay. Spare bedding for sofa bed was stained. Day two we had to move rooms due to the smell of the carpet not having dried there was an overpowering damp smell and still wet to walk on so we had to wear shoes in the room. The pool area was very rundown, tiles missing from pool and area generally tired and dirty. The hallways and the lifts were really dark and dirty and smelled.
Nice place to stay if the weather was better. Everything is close by. Friendly staff.
Yeah hotel needs to be freshened up My first thought walking into the foyer there was no sanitation happening looking closer a small bottle at the end of the counter NOT good enough there should be a sanitation at the front of the door for everyone entering to use There was a lot of dust in every corner I looked in the foyers outside every front door and in the rooms Makes me wonder if the cleaning is getting done correctly
Very disappointed, so run to say it nicely carpet and furniture were stained. Check in slow and cards not working. Very over priced I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We walked in and walked straight back out. Very upsetting
We wanted to be booked in for 8 days as I’d already booked for Saturday and Sunday I tried to book for an extra 6 nights but could only only get 5 so we had to go to another hotel for the night and when we came back Sommer upgraded us. Thank You Sommer. 👍👍💓💓
Great location and wonderful water views. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
We had a water front room with great views. Friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay. Close to amenities.
Great location with fantastic view. Shopping and restaurants close by.
We were extremely disappointed with the quality and condition of the hotel. The carpets in the foyeur, corridors and rooms are stained, frayed and dirty around the skirting boards. There are chips in the paint and scratches on doors. From our bedroom window we had a view of debris that had been thrown from floors above - cigarette buts, bottle caps and even a piece of old pizza! This would not be an issue for a 3 star rating and price however we paid a 5 star rate.
The accommodation is in a great spot, and we enjoyed our time there. Rooms are ok, not sure they are the standard you expect for the money charged. There was no balcony furniture. The sofa bed wasn’t made up, even though the booking was for 3 people. When requested that it be made up, didn’t put cushions on the bed. The most annoying thing was that I booked that hotel for the pool, there was nothing on the Wotif site or their own website saying it was closed. Nothing was said on checking in, and only when you went in the lift was there a sign. Blaming Covid , though pools are allowed to be open now, so can only assume that it’s lack of staff to keep clean.
