Stayed one night for a wedding close by, it was very quiet. Room was clean, VERY spacious. We got the double queen room, it also had a sofa with a pull out bed. We had plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast options are what you would expect for complimentary but overall it was a good stay!

I was only there for one night as a vendor for an event about 15 minutes away. I was even more impressed at how comfortable, clean, and quiet the hotel was. I could hear another guests tv as I approached my room but it was drowned out once I entered my room. Very well insulated and spacious as well. Breakfast was also included which was a plus.

Not too bad. The mattress is really comfortable. Breakfast is not the best I only had a bagel because I’m picky. Bathroom is pretty you just have to call for extra towels and toilet paper. Very nice staff members.

Call and make your res directly they will no longer credit you if you use Hotels.com and cut you stay. They will charge you for the days even though you wont be staying cost me just under 400.00. ATTN CIS pts. tell them and get a reduced rate.

Well, I’ll start by saying I saw a mouse in our room. I’m general the hotel was kind of run down. The toilet did not flush well and the water pressure wasn’t great. The elevator broke while we were there and the staff were not very concerned or apologetic about it. The breakfast was fair and typical of these type of hotels. In general it was a fair experience except I SAW A MOUSE IN OUR ROOM.

Highly Disappointed

Very subpar experience. The only bright spot was the staff was very courteous and friendly, although all they could offer was a lot of, "I am sorrys." First off it seems as nothing worked in this hotel. In the middle of Summer the pool was out of commission the whole time. There is an ice machine on every floor except the one on the first floor was the only one I saw that worked so I had to grab a plate from the kitchen on my returns bringing ice to my room so I didn't have to go up and down twice each time. The largest inconvenience was that I had to have my key reprogrammed 4 times in a 3 day trip. Each time after a long day with my belongings and said ice in my hand I had to set everything down and go back down to the front desk to get new keys. Once was a two-for as neither of the two keys reprogramed for me worked so I had to go back down again. By the time I left the staff was well aware of who I was and my issues, yet I received nothing except "I'm sorry", the same description of how key cards work, and a "there's nothing I can do about that." Finally, when I simply asked for an additional hour on my late check out (from 12-1) so my son and I could shower before the airport, I was advised that policy was 12 max. I understand but in the circumstances with no rush of people checking into the Houma Inn I think it would be a simple one time concession a manager could have allowed us for all that we experienced. Maybe just a string of bad luck but this stay was not fun.
