Short overnight stay - nice hotel but poor service

Short overnight stay before departure further south with 4 kids. Late check-in with bad service and unfriendly check-in. 4 kids were standing next to me and the gentleman who did the procedure was not that kind. However the hotel was nice. Pool and rooms were both used and nicely cleaned. Just didn’t like the service.

Was in room 401 and the free wifi did not work in that room. I was traveling internationally and had to pay a lot of money for additional data. I was unable to get compensation for it from Novotel Nuernberg. Other than that, everything else was flawless. Staff were friendly and helpful, location is very close to Hbf, and rooms are solid.

We liked the location of the hotel. The room was clean and basic. Considering the train tracks were the view from the window, it was a quiet nights sleep. The 25 euro breakfast was okay.

Perfect location

We spent 2 nights at the hotel to experience the Christmas Market. The location was perfect as it was walking distance from the hotel. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning which had a huge and satisfying selection of both hot + cold choices. The parking at the hotel was convenient as well and was secure and had a hotel rate. Our room was spacious and had an additional sofa bed set up for us which was a nice touch and much appreciated.
