The hotel was generally very good.
The main room and the bathroom were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Also the room had a private kitchen. You could use the fridge and sink for free (both very handy) - but you had to pay to use the cooking equipment (not that we had need to, as we ate out). Unfortunately, there seemed to be a patch of what smelled like balsamic vinegar on the kitchen table underneath the tea and coffee tray - which we had to clean up.
The hotel staff were helpful, with only one blemish. We'd prepaid for our breakfast when we booked via hotels.com however one member of staff denied this and asked us to pay a fee of 5 Euro per person, per day. It took speaking to another member of staff, who in turn spoke to her manager to get this sorted.
The hotel is only a short tram ride from the city centre, however, it is worth baring in mind that in order to get to and from the tram stop, there is a rather steep hill you have to climb down/up. I imagine this would pose problems for people who are elderly or disabled.
The breakfast itself was buffet style and good quality. It included the usual continental fare, but also sausages and eggs (boiled and scambled). We felt full and satisfied each day.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay, and our stay there again.
