For a very authentic Thai experience stay here!
It was a very authentic old Thai style. The gardens were beautiful and the breakfast was very good. They speak limited English but we got along OK. If you want an aesthetic experience it is a great place to stay if you’re working for Western comfort it might not be for you. However I will world traveler and I loved it.

Cosy Rooms & Beautiful Environment
Love the cosy room though is not that spacious. The bed is comfortable and clean. The dinning area for breakfast is so forestry. My family spent a long time chatting while having breakfast at the many tables provided around the area in the midst of the many plants. It is a beautiful place to take pictures for memory. The shopping mall is within walking distance.

Can somebody PLEASE contact me? I have sent (or tried to send) the hotel several emails about something that I left in my room but I haven't heard anything back.

The rooms are submersed in a well maintained garden. You feel like your in an Asian jungle. You're not in Chiang Mai anymore.
Rooms were very nice, but not traveller friendly. No place to put your luggage. The room furniture added an old style feel which I thought was nice. Something to be experienced.

A cozy small hotel in a quiet area but still closes to Maya Shopping mall and public transport station. It’s very convenience location. Hotel is clean but bathroom really needs to be updated. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.

Dusty claustrophobic experience.
This is very cluttered filled with dusty collections and banners hanging everywhere. It seems that nothing has been properly cleaned for years.

Close to maya, hotel quite old
Stayed here for 3 nights
Can't complain for this price
Like the bird that said "sawadeeka" in the garden
Breakfast is the same everyday, recommend to change a little bit for those who stay for few days

Overall satisfaction.
A good location with walking distance to MAYA Mall.
Staffs are helpful though we check-in late in the evening.
Room condition is OK but the bathroom is not good because water flow from the electric water heater is too slow.

Quiet resort with lush suroundings
I had an incredibly quiet and restful stay at this hotel/resort. The staff was friendly and accommodating. There is a great Vietnamese restaurant at the hotel. I ordered a traditional Vietnamese breakfast. Portions were large. I spent a lot of time on tours, but time spent at the hotel was quite peaceful. Late evenings when it cooled down, I spent in a personal sitting area just outside of my room reading. Wandered the grounds and found shrines, birds, water features etc..

A bit odd hotel with many issues
Hotel is a bit cluttered with a lot of old furniture and decorations. Beds were comfortable but room was full of furniture that looked like taken from old country house (probably intentional). It was a bit dusty - not recommended for allergic people. BIG NO NO - HOTEL IS ON THE APPROACH PATH OF THE AIRPORT. If you mind jet engine noise - better pick other hotel. Overall - not great place in terms of "Value for money".

location is far from downtown but close to shopping mall with variety of food in the food center. Staff are friendly, lot of green tree and cool atmosphere.

Wonderful stay, nice and clean.
I had a really good time stay in this hotel. A lot of trees. Quiet and peaceful. I would recommend the hotel to my friends who want to walk along the Nimmanhemin Street (hang out street for Chiang Mai teenager). It's walking distance.

Not far from points of interest
An interesting little boarding house not far from Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. The Staff was helpful in the sense that they could be bothered but preferred to tend to their own affairs. There is a clear indication in the rooms that smoking and drinking on the grounds would not be tolerated. We don’t remember reading this in the description on the booking webpage but respected their wishes. As it would turn out our room had an ashtray as some relic of the past ether left to taunt tenants or forgotten by the nonsmoking award on the front desk. The bathroom could use a bit of a spruce up and the shower was heated by a flash heater, while effective it was a learning experience. The house coordinates scooter rentals with the local “Buddy Rental company” (if memory serves) who deliver the rental to you at the parking lot. Their price is fair however they don’t bother to check the fuel level in the scooters so we spent an hour looking for a place that we could fill up. Albeit this was mostly our fault for not looking something up before we left. The gardens that they have on grounds are kind of interesting and there are several birds which will talk to you. This was funniest when they started catcalling my travel companion, causing her to get all sorts of flustered. We often joked that in our absence the staff may have been checking our room to be sure that there was no sex, drugs or rock and roll occurring. Overall it was a fine place to stay for the price.
