Price quoted on the internet, on which we made our decision to stay' was considerably higher than what we had to pay at the hotel. It was book now and pay at the location when arriving. When questioned about the difference they said it was due to the exchang rate. Checking rates when we booked to when we arrived I could not justify this increase in charges. Expedia was of no help to resolve this issue when they were the booking agent. Told us to deal with the Hotel. Still looking into this.

Hotel very traditional Thai, but rooms a bit tired and electrics a rule unto themselves! As access to rooms are open walkways and therefore security was an issue for me as anyone could enter hotel. You will love the design and layout of the hotel with a courtyard and pool at the center. It has a modern style with bed on floor. If you have a hard time getting up from the floor, this is not for you. Quiet, off the main street, but still centrally located. You can walk to most places in the old city.

We had a great stay! More of a boutique hotel. Food and drinks were good. The best part was the friendly staff. Also very kind with children. There was a washer/dryer on site which was helpful. Great location. The only down size was the tiny bathroom.
