I totally enjoyed my 11 night stay here at Le Chateau de Pierre in May 2024. The location is fantastic. I was able to walk everywhere, even with a broken foot. However, there is a hill to reach the hotel & there is no elevator with it being a historic building. There’s also a lip you need to walk over for the 2 doors to get in the building.
The room was larger than I expected; the bathroom was a little snug, not a complaint, just info for others. The furnishings are quaint. The bed was very comfortable. The WiFi was excellent. The hallways are adorable.
I was apprehensive with no staff being here but found the check-in/-out process to be simple & non-problemic. The pre-visit communication from the staff is excellent. I didn’t need to contact them at all during my stay.
The area is very quiet. Obviously, the hotel is only as quiet as the other guests allow it to be, which varied during my staff. People need to remember sounds do carry in a “house” like this. The cleaning staff was very quiet & thorough. Yay!
The Kitchen in the basement with a full-sized fridge, microwave , range/oven is a nice bonus. It’s fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cups, spices, tea/coffee & pots/pans. There are extra toiletries (shampoo, bar soap, shower gel & sometimes hand lotion) as well as towels. There is a small fridge & coffee maker in the room.
I would definitely recommend this hotel & stay here again.
