Perfect for basic overnight at the airport, shuttle service is excellent and runs 24 hours and takes no more than 15 minutes to and from airport. Restaurant closes at 3pm and then open again at 7 pm ... for an airport hotel they should offer either a room service or longer restaurant hours. hotel is clean, room soundproof and bed comfortable.

Convenient Location, Good Staff
The hotel is located conveniently 5 minutes from the airport, with a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes to the airport. The staff are friendly and courteous. Also, the beds are very comfortable in the hotel room. The breakfast is tasty, and again, the staff were very kind. If I had one point of feedback, I would say the rooms need some very minor updates. A little paint and some plaster would spruce up the rooms. Otherwise, all was great at the hotel.

The hotel is convenient for GIG airport, that's the positive! I arrived early, but asked for an early check in if possible. The young lad serving me asked me to wait a few minutes. After 1.5 hours another staff member explained a room was available all along, but the first lad had simply forgot about me! The room was then basic and needed renovation for wear and tear. The other staff were very good.

Perfect for an airport layover flight
While its not the Marriott, the Linx Galeão is great for an airport overnight stay. After a few communications to rhe hotel, they responded via e-mail explaining exactly where to pick up their free hotel shuttle. ( In front of Door D on the arrival level of T1.) The shuttle comes every 20 minites so be patient. Once picked up, the drive was about 5 minutes to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and there was a mini market in the hotel lobby with snacks and water for purchase. The morning breakfast buffet was great and started at 5AM for those leaving early for a flight. We also enjoyed the weight room and pool. What more could one ask for? No complaints.

This was pretty bad. Reserved two superior rooms. They did not have them when we arrived. We had to wait over one hour while they tried to figure out what to do. Finally they have us two standard rooms. The standard rooms are very bad, they are bare, have bad lighting, and don't have any amenity at all except the soap, shampoo and conditioner that are locked into the wall. No shower cap, no toiletry. Two towels, two pillows, one thin cover. The bed is two single mattresses joined. They gave us only one key per room, and you need the key to have the air conditioning on, so when you leave the room, it gets hot again. With only a few exceptions, the people we interacted with were not very nice. The restaurant is very basic. The food is tasty but very expensive for what it is. I’m amazed that this is the best hotel near the airport in Rio de Janeiro.
