Upon entering the room, it has a masky smell and felt as if no one has open up the room to air it. The sink has black stain edges. It does feel the hotel has alot of hit and miss areas. Though the manager on duty remain friendly and warm. The hotel is right at the top of the hill and the drive is challenging with limited lights. if you are foreigner, you will miss all the turns especially at night.

Although this hotel is an older traditional Japanese style, staff are super friendly and helpful for foreigners. They set up the bed for you everyday and excellent hospitality. Fantastic view overlooking the whole Nagasaki city. Highly recommend!

Was a wonderful stay. The Hitekvsits in a hill the the viewcis spectacular. The mix of decor with western and Japanese is truly a beautiful mix.
Used both the western beds and the Futon.
The meals that were served the Jsoanese Dinner was amazing and the breakfast both Japanese and non Japanese was delicious and we were stuffed and pleased. If you like luxury then do stay at this property. Can't say more, a wonderful experience !
