We stayed for two nights at the end of July and can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms and decor are lovely. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful and incredibly friendly. The property is clean and quaint. It is newly renovated and very comfortable.
Two things to mention: the door to the unit is very difficult to open with the key and the stairs are difficult for older people with baggage.
The lady who cleans is a gem, helping us with WIF and giving us her key. The lock tithe door needs replacing

This hotel is a great blend of old and new. From the stone walls and staircase, and what look to be some original internal windows, this hotel has older bones, but the use of glass and steel internally adds a modern edge to the place. The open internal courtyard also allows for light to come through from above, and the lounge area has great mood lighting for a relaxing wind down.
Our welcome was warm and the host unobtrusive, yet extremely helpful when needed; classy.

The owners made us feel welcome and the property is a awesome unique boutique hotel. Full of unique pieces the owners have collected. One thing to note this property does not have.a 24/7 reception even though Expedia gave us the information it did. We did not arrive until midnight due to delayed flights. We had provided our flight number so the owners were tracking our flight and waited for us to arrive.as we couldn’t be contacted. If I got the correct information I would have reached out to...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Valletta
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Valletta is between January and March, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a comprehensive experience of the city's key landmarks, cultural sites, and historical attractions, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended. During your visit, you can explore fascinating museums, historic monuments, and the stunning cathedral, as well as enjoy the picturesque port and charming theatre. This budget-friendly trip offers great value for money, allowing you to immerse yourself in Valletta's rich history and culture while encountering friendly locals and indulging in some delightful shopping.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover last-minute deals for accommodation in Valletta, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, maximising your chances of securing a cheaper stay. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature on the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're informed about any price drops or room availability. You're more likely to seize a great deal for your last-minute getaway this way.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and season, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a Valletta hotel. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, helping you to secure the best possible deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, with Valletta's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel a little further out that remains well linked. For those interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
