I have stayed at Punthill South Yarra several times and enjoy the value for money, location, the friendly reception people. On this occasion there were a few things missing when house keeping came though. There was no tee towel to dry the plates and cutlery and no soaps in the bathroom. The rest of the room was clean.

Love the locations as well as the condition of the room. The only minor inconvenience is the lack of an obvious powerpoint in the bedroom. Overall the concierge staff were friendly, informative and helpfully honest. The area is easy to get around with plenty of options for food as well as public transport closeby.
