Super helpful staff that provided easy instructions for check in and provided great recommendations. Rooms were clean and pretty modern!

Perfect location. Address is precise but visitors to new area should be prepared to search for the address that has practically no signage. hotels.com booking goes through expedia. Your phone number may not get to Capricci Romani in a useful way--they may try to contact you but the info they have may not be correct. Recommend initiating contact prior to arrival.

Unfortunately we had booked 2 singles but when we arrived they said they didn't have any twin rooms at all! Not sure whether this was a Hotels.com error therefore. We are 2 women (aunt and niece) so it was far from ideal but the hotel did give us a small refund, which was appreciated. The room was also extremely small - possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in - but was nicely furnished with a spacious bathroom. We hardly spent any time in the room anyway. Location was good - we walked everywhere - and Mary was very friendly. Tip - book the triple room if you need a bit of space!

Was very worried about check in and not being able to communicate by language barriers. Definitely, no problem with that. First, antique wooden elevator was a big plus. Very professional on everything they do to make vacation go smoothly. The room was perfect for a couple or small family. Views out window were amazing like in the movies. Very clean and kept clean during entire stay. Plenty of info in handbook for local attractions. Almost a straight shot to Vatican and going opposite way straight shot to Colosseum (one turn on each but simple). Grocery store on same street about 3 blocks down. Owners give you additional info and check to see if you need assistance daily. They were even nice enough to keep yogurt stocked in kitchen for morning for my wife that is critically ill as it is part of her normal diet. We were going to buy but they would not let us. Very polite and beautiful people inside and out. Definitely will stay here next time in Rome. You won't be disapppointed.

Great location for visiting Vatican City and Rome. Outside of the craziness of the other big tourist stops. It's a 10-15 minute walk from 2 Metro (orange line) stops so you can still get everywhere. 10 minute walk to the USO and Vatican Museum entrance. Recently updated in 2017 and everything was still spotless when we visited in December 2017. Flat syle rooms (4 total) with a shared common area that offers fresh croissants every morning as well as coffee and tea. Jessica and friend were very helpful and gave a very informative tour and map.
