As a 2 star motel you get basic a accommodation and that's understandable. The room was comfortable enough, however it was a little bit worn out. For example, the floor was damaged in several areas, causing potential hazard, the cabinet drawers seem to easily fall out, and the lamp shade in the living room was missing and replaced with a sheet of paper (!). Additionally the coffee maker was missing the filters and one of the beds didn't have sheets... Overall it wasn't dirty, but basic things like vacuuming the rug in the living area must have not been done in a while.

We wanted mountain rustic, cozy, clean and walkable to a atore or restaurant. It had a great size kitchen to cook in or store our food until the next day. The owner, host was communicative and very welcoming. This is a motel i would stay at again.

The receptionist was pleasant & helpful. Our room was clean, quiet, fairly well-appointed with nice views of the forest. The only set back is the double bed; too small for 2 people; the room may have been set up for 1 as the dishes only had one cup, glass, plate, bowl, etc. Overall, this real gem in Running Springs is highly recommended.

We enjoyed this quaint space just for two. The place was clean and the new manager, Syed, was most hospitable. He took a special effort in making sure we were well taken care of, and embraces his work with pride and joy. We will definitely come back!

Our stay at Sherwood Arms Motel was worthwhile! After our first night, we decided to stay another night and Syed (Front office) made it an easy transition for us! He ensured we were accommodated, comfortable, and pleased. We stayed in room 8 and 9 and can definitely say that it was better than a hotel (made it feel as if we were luxuriously camping). Close to Lake Arrowhead, convince store, gas station, diners, etc. Highly recommend and will be back :)
