The light fitting in our room were low and Sticking out and I cut my head severely when I got up from the bed. The receptionist was very sympathetic to this. The shower in room 62 - you are not able to stand in, therefore you are having a shower on your knees. The location was good.

First visit to Paris
Check in was 3pm but our room was not ready until 3.30. During our stay it was not done until after 4 pm. It seemed, the bin was emptied and all towels removed much earlier. Breakfasts were good and included. Most of the reception staff were very helpful. The hotel was within walking distance of most tourist attractions and very convenient for us. We expected more for the **** rating.

Spring Break in Paris
We enjoyed our visit to Paris even with heighten spread of corona - 19 escalating in the country. We felt comfort in our hotel being a small boutique hotel and not crowded with a lot of people. Although small and the building structure was old it was nicely updated. The location was ideal!! Close to the metro, several cafes, bars, bakeries, Les Halles, Siene River, and many other tourist attractions we were able to see a lot of the city on foot.

Pros and Cons
Pros: very courteous staff. Great location. Next to metro. 10 min walk to the Lourve, St Chapelle/Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou. Cons: This hotel has very small rooms and even smaller bathrooms. The tub has no curtains so water will go everywhere after you take a shower. The courtyard view was really just a view of a painting on the wall. The stairway and hallways are very narrow. The elevator can only fit one person with luggage. For us, the cons outweigh the pros so we would not recommend our family and friends to stay there.

Small rooms, comfortable bed, small bathroom, small elevator, very clean, AMAZING location, terrible service...ordered a taxi to the airport which the staff wasn’t able to get and didn’t tell me until it was too late and I was forced to take a much more expensive option in order to make my flight.

Are the photos of another hotel?!
I'm certain the photographs are of another hotel, because the one I stayed in looked nothing like them! The area is central and bustling, but VERY noisy. The guy who checked us in took about 20 minutes and had a queue of people waiting to check-in. The hotel room was not what I expected. Really poor. I couldn't close the bathroom door because the bed was in the way. The shower was very small, the shower wouldn't stay on the wall, and the shower curtain wasn't water proof. I couldn't take a shower without getting water EVERYWHERE. I had an inward facing room which was silent, but a colleague was facing the street and couldn't open the window because it was VERY noisy all night. Weirdly enough, the scrambled eggs for breakfast were by far the best hotel eggs I've ever had...

Nice place, friendly staff. In a quite noisy area with a lot of night life but my room was nice and quiet and I slept like a log.

Superb hotel, superb location, superb value
My fiance and i really enjoyed staying here. The room we had was great, with a sweet little terrace to sit out on. The staff were all super helpful, lending us both an iron and a hairdryer! Our beds were made daily, towels changed daily, heck even the tea/coffee stuff was replaced daily! The best of all though, is the location. You are practically next door to the Chatelet train station and walking distance to the Louvre - for this kind of money, i cant see anyone getting better. Highly recommended. Merci Hôtel Ducs D'Anjou!
