The location of this hotel is brilliant. It is a short walk from Southern Cross train station - which is also a stop for the Skybus from the airport. It is a short walk down to the river and an easy walk around the CBD. We also booked the breakfast as part of our room which is good value for money. Would recommend.

Easy check in, have stayed many times and will go back again and again. Easy walk to everything that Melbourne has to offer from casino, restaurants, shopping, museums, public transport etc . The rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. They are always more than happy to hold our baggage when we check out which is convenient to come back after a morning breakfast and a shop. The Oaks on Market Street is very centrally located. A tram around the corner. The building was quiet and comfortable warm (it was the middle of winter outside). We stayed on the 15th floor. The apartment had everything we needed. It was an extremely large apartment with a king sized comfortable bed and large cupboard for hanging clothing. The staff at reception were super helpful and friendly and polite. The apartment could do with a fresh coat of paint but was fine.
