Poor 2.0
Terrible, horrible worst stay in my entire life
The carpet was completely wet. Room smelled awful. There is a black corner on the floor next to the AC - looks like mold. Sheets were stained and beds covered in dog hair. Didn't bother letting cleaning ladies change them for another pair of used sheets. Wifi not available in rooms..seriously? The shower was tiny and slippery with water running half through the shower head and half through the bottom faucet so the pressure was weak with barely my water coming out. I was better off taking a bath to get clean but the tub stains grossed me out. Had to play with the knobs the entire time to get the right temperature. The walls are so dirty. I could see hand prints in the bathroom. Our room phone didn't work. The breakfast is basically frozen food out of a box. Used $10 voucher for it good for two people one time but wasn't willing to pay out of pocket for that. Room 333 is a complete fixer upper. I wish I had photos to share the experience of this disgusting place. I don't see what the money paid goes towards. The only good thing was how comfortable the beds were, but I wasn't comfortable sleeping in them after seeing the sheets so I put my own sheets and pillow cases from home.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY. READ BELOW!
We were looking for exactly what you are looking for, a cheap place to save some money that looks decent from the photos and won’t be too bad because you are just sleeping there! WE KNOW WHAT YOUR THINKING!! We tried that approach to save a buck. DO NOT! You need to spend an extra couple of bucks for a 3 star plus hotel TRUST ME ! we got to the hotel property and it is so run down, but still I said let’s see how bad it could be. we walked to the room.. a cockroach family scattered all over the walls right as I turned the lights on. THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!!!!!! Ceiling, Floor, Dresser, ALL OVER THE DOOR HANDLE. We couldn’t have screamed loud enough !! From the slightest glance of the room itself looks NOTHING like the photos. AT ALL. those photos were taken years and years ago. Has the property ever heard of an exterminator ??? cockroaches were everywhere, we took a video of the roaches and showed it to the front desk. he was super nice and refunded us immediately. we went down the road to the avanti resort for literally 20 dollars more a night and it was amazing. (Not 5 star, but NO ROACHES) I felt so dirty after I left the room. As a Florida native I come to Orlando just to get a weekend away and have fun. Be aware of cheap or money saving good deals In Orlando that seem too good to be true. do your research and read reviews as much as you can. If any even 1 says roaches you are taking that chance to waste your time and having trouble re-booking somewhere else. be aware.

Stay Away!!
First of all let me start by saying you get what you pay for! At first glance the room looks low budget but manageable. Then you stay a bit and realize that it’s filthy and outdated! I had an unexpected change in vacation plans and got this room close to the park for me and my three little ones traveling. I made them wear socks or sandals the entire stay because the carpet is nasty!! I had several run ins with cleanliness and yes I and going to give you the run down of them ALL! The soap they offered was cheap, I had spotted roaches on two occasions! The door to the room was sooo dirty I hated to touch it! The lamp shades were awful, the walls poorly painted! I hated everything about this room. I wasn’t comfortable at all!!! The pool water was FREEZING! They didn’t provide face cloths and they ran out of dry towels at least twice as well as pool towels! They were so stingy with eating untensils. The hotels clerks always seemed unsure when I asked them a question. There were only two good things about the hotel and that was the free shuttle bus to the parks & the convience of having a fast food restaurant and Walgreens in walking distance. I walked past a few of the rooms being remodeled and they looked pretty decent. But if the roaches are staying it won’t make a difference how nice they look. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! I wouldn’t stay here again if they offered it free! Terrible experience it ruined part of our vacation honestly.

Does not value customers.
This hotel has lost its way, it has lost its value. At one point this hotel as clean, cheap, with friendly staff. With a low price point, it was easy to overlook the odd broken amenity. However, over the 8 years that Ive periodically visited this hotel, the staff had some new additions that are less than friendly to say the least, prices have increased, and less things work. This is my second time having a negative encounter with staff that aren't helpful, and it has become pointless to complain. So, this time I am taking my complaints straight to Expedia. Events that took place during my last stay: -broken ATM, staff argued that it worked even though several guests had issues -had to carry all my luggage on a walk to find an atm so i could get the deposit the request -room key broken, could not be fixed until morning and morning I would check out anyway. -phone inoperable -room was clean but in disrepair -the most pressing issue, it was freezing temperature outside and the heater did not work. Yes, temperatures can reach freezing in Florida. I was so cold i couldn't leave my blankets, nor could I ring the front desk even if I thought they would help. Saying anything to the rude woman in the morning would've been pointless. I just would've gotten attitude from her. I simply can not continue to give my business to a company that treats paying guests as a nuisance. Im sure if this business continues down this path it will inevitably end up in bankruptcy.

Not clean and very noisy
The hotel is under renovation and while they are doing that they give the non-renovated rooms to the guests. My first room did smell quite a lot and there was small cockroaches in the room. And when a construction worker woke me up one morning at 8am I told him to come back later. He insisted to come in and change the curtain. I didn't have anything on so I told him to come later. He got angry and shouted to his coworkers. Not very nice. It's to early to wake someone up on a holiday. I went to the reception and told them about the cockroach and the construction worker. They gave me one of the new rooms. They were nice but the room they gave me was next to the working space for the construction workers which start early in the morning. Also when I changed rooms I found out that my key for the first room worked for my new room. The keys worked for both rooms. Maybe they work for all rooms? When I went down to tell in the reception they didn't believe me. I showed them and they promised to change the locks. That never happened while I was there. The only good thing was the area the hotel were. It's not directly on International Drive so you do not get disturbed by cars but you can still walk to universal in 15 minuts
