Not bad. But stay at Hyatt House.
We’ve stayed multiple times at the Hyatt House next door. Wasn’t aware Hyatt Place was more of a lower type accommodation. The room was nice and clean but the bathroom had an inch between the door and the toilet for opening a closing. This made no sense to me. You couldn’t even change in there an open or close the door. I’ll take the Hyatt house vs. this anytime. I also don’t agree that they charge a parking fee. It’s not a resort a they don’t tell you til you check out. They ask if you have a vehicle but don’t explicitly let you know there’s a fee. That’s shady business practices.

Great experience & Convenient to Universal studios
Very clean hotel with lots of room. The staff were all excellent. Friendly and helpful. All appeared to enjoy their jobs. Breakfast was good. Better than most complimentary breakfasts. Its walking distance to Universal (20 minutes, 0.8 miles). Price was good compared to other hotels in the same vicinity.

Spacious room within walking distance of Universal
We booked this hotel for a last-minute trip to go to Universal Studios for the day, since our flight was much later in the evening out of MCO. The room was spacious, clean, modern. The beds and furniture were comfy. The mini-fridge and sink (think wet bar) area was nice. I liked the open floor plan. Only the shower and toilet were behind a door. The bathroom sink was outside the door. One note: my partner thought the shower area was a little tight bc the door opens in towards the shower. It didn't bother us bc we kept the door open. The complimentary breakfast was really great, compared to others that I've had. It lived up to the reviews I had read. It was one of the reasons we booked this hotel. We were able to check out and have them store our bags while we went to Universal Studios. There was a complimentary shuttle, which we didn't use. Universal Citywalk and Studios was just a 20-30 minute walk away. Some parts of it were pleasant and scenic, but you are crossing major roads so make sure to press the crosswalk button. We had a fun time spending the day at the park and eating dinner at Citywalk. Getting our bags from hotel storage was a breeze. Honestly, everything exceeded my expectations. I would gladly stay here again.
