Excellent hospitality, great food for resort food, drinks were strong and not watered down. Staff were very helpful and attentive our entire stay. Every staff member we passed asked us how we were doing and how our stay was going and if there was anything they could do to make it even better! They cleaned our room at least twice a day and always kept our mini fridge stocked. They really kept up with the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel. Everyday we seen the staff mopping, wiping down mirrors and glass doors, repainting the walls and more! We really enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return someday!

Within less than 2 days I became extremely ill due to the lack of cleanliness and air filtration in the rooms. Food options are very limited and reservations are required even though this a small resort. Wild animal will approach you while dining or sleeping. Bar options are limited and watered down. I disliked that 2/3 of my party left extremely sick. The drinks seems watered down, the food was subpar at best, the air filters in the rooms needed to be changed(which caused the sickness in the party). The only things I loved about the property were the unique beach access and cabanas, the relaxation experienced on the beach, the cafe, and how down to earth the staff was.

It had everything we needed and they try and provide a lot of activities. The night life was lacking and since it’s far from town, you are pretty stuck with what they have to offer. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and our stay but this is not the place to party. The hotel was pretty quiet.

Stayed May 2024 & had a great time. Property is smaller compared to some resorts but still had a good amount of food options, make sure to make reservations for the 2 nicer restaurants (Japanese & Italian) when you arrive. The resort is quiet in comparison to other resorts we have stayed at with everything but the sports bar closing down at 8:00pm, so if you are looking to relax this is a great adults only resort. Resort is on the beach with plenty of loungers, overall the beach is nice (yes there is sargassum but all the beaches on this side of Mexico have it) and the ocean is a easy to walk into. Pools were nice, one side was quiet & the other side had music with a bar so it had party vibes. Food was good at all restaurants/buffet & the coffee shop had yummy treats. I saw a review that said unless you ask for specific liquor they will give you bottom shelf but it was hard to figure out what the all inclusive top shelf was & bartenders wouldnt really tell us but finally figured out if you ask for chilled silver tequila shots it will be Don Julio silver so we stuck with that. It's about a 45minute drive from the airport/Cancun hotel zone ($50 Taxi) or a 25 minute drive south to Playa Del Carmen ($30 Taxi) After check in they will hand you off to someone trying to sell you on their Hyatt timeshare/hotel club but nicely let them know that we werent interested & was not approached again. There are 2 smoking sections which can be a bit of a walk depending on where your room is.

This was a summer trip for just two. We found the adults only Hyatt Zilara to be romantic, quiet, relaxing and very beautiful. The rooms were comfortable and we slept amazingly in the beds. The food was delicious in all the restaurants. The staff was outstanding always being available and welcoming. The beaches were clean and not crowded. We found the value we received for the experience was very good. We will book this trip again.

This resort is great from getting away from home to unwind from the day-to-day routine. Even the travelers were great people. Very sociable and nice. The one thing you do have to be aware is if you have a swim up suite you need to lock your door from the pool swim up the raccoons will open the door and will enter your room and eat your food if you leave anything behind. Must lock the door. The views of this resort is beautiful. It’s not a huge resort so no need to walk far for anything. My wife loved it and wants to return soon. Truly amazed with this place. Poolside? Cabanas are great but with charge which includes a butler for the day. They will bring your drinks food etc. though it was my birthday, the staff was very nice came out with balloons and a bottle of alcohol with a big Mexican hat and sang me happy birthday by the poolside very nice of them. Pool activities were fun and funny. I’ve never was the type to attend any activities in this one I did especially the pool aerobics. Traveler crowd was a bit older and very few young people there. But everyone really seemed to enjoy their time here. Definitely coming back here. Everything is incl
