Packed together on Beach.
The Hotel is on a lovely large beach BUT, they make guests sit PACKED into a small space on top of everyone else including screaming children and drunk young people. . We hated that! They are also practically on the airport runway which can be very very noisy. We will not stay there again.
3 to 4 rows deep with no space in between, the rest of the beach empty.

Nice escape
This was a fun hotel for sure, right in the heart of one of the main beaches on the outskirts of San Juan. Great restaurant, casino, multiple pools and beach. It's a perfect escape if you want to settle in and relax. Perfect for families and couples alike. The only downfall is it is a little bit isolated compared to other spots we've stayed in Puerto Rico. You can still walk to shopping and restaurants, but it's a bit of a hike on a dark and busy road near the airport to get anywhere fun.

We stayed one night with two young children to be able to have access to the beach/pool before flying out early the next morning. Hotel room was outdated and smelled musty. Other rooms had been updated we're told. Staff was excellent. Note that due to rip currents, the hotel beach is really not swimmable for kids (red flag posted the whole time). This is not a place to go to relax quietly - it's super crowded and more of a party vibe. That being said, it was fine for our family for one night.
