The outside of the hotel was dirty. The entrance way was littered with scraps of trash and cigarette butts. Although there were lights over the parking lot, they were not lit. I felt very uncomfortable and not safe. The lobby was dingy and un inviting and smelled of stale cooked food. I was advised at check in that there would be a $100 security deposit placed on my card that would be refunded after check out. I had to ask three times for a receipt that stated this and only I insisted, the clerk presented me with one. The room was adequate with 2 queen beds. The furniture was mis-matched and very worn out. The bathroom likewise was very dingy and dated. Stains and hair in the tub ( we did not use the tub) and hair on the floor. This facility served its purpose - a bed for the night, but we will never stay there again.

breakfast is a lie. clean but depressing place.
ZERO food for breakfast (though the coffee was good) Some people were wonderful, some not. Cleaner did nothing in my room on her one visit. There were covid mask signs everywhere BUT employees were hacking and coughing all up and down the halls with NO masks on. I ended up glad the cleaner spent so little time in my room. At least she didn't give me the plague

Won't go to Super 8 anymore
The hotel had an overwhelming scent of disinfectant/cleaner or perfume that gave me a dry throat and I had to use my pump. The shower was gross and neither my daughter and I took a shower. We did not have breakfast the next morning, even it is part of the deal. It looked unappetizing.

Breakfast was late the first day my team stayed there and on the second day they never even unlocked the dining area. Our construction crew was counting on having breakfast at the hotel and this added an unnecessary expense to the job as well as a time delay in the morning. Please have your staff open and ready to receive guests with a well stocked breakfast at 6am as advertised. It was one of the reasons we selected this hotel over other options.

I didn’t stay. I arrived and had trouble figuring out which of the 2 doors were the main entrance. I arrived around midnight after a late flight. You had to talk through a glass partition. The guy running the desk was nice, but the hallway and carpet were really dirty. I felt uncomfortable as a women traveling alone . There was a group of men with a case of beer in the parking lot. The hotel was just very dark and sad looking. I ended up driving the 1 1/2 home rather than stay.

Not a great stay
The hotel was dreary and could use updating but at least a fresh coat of paint and some new flooring. I checked and was clean but didn't feel really clean. It is a shame as it is a very convenient location to a lot of things in Harrisburg.
