Check in was a breeze, easiest check-in process I have ever encountered. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant on site was affordably priced and food was terrific. Would definitely recommend staying here

The room was clean, warm and dry and as we were travelling on motorcycles, it was perfect. Nothing fancy for sure, but having a restaurant/bar on site as well as laundry facilities was nice too. The staff was the best part.

Hospitality was so friendly and helpful!! Even called me back personally to make sure our check in would be convenient after hours! Loved how large, comfortable and clean our room was! Loved the restaurant, feeling very nostalgic and personable! Highly recommend! ~*

Strange but in a nice way. You check in at the bar. The bartender is extremely friendly and kind. The rooms are in a building behind the main house. Dated but clean and comfortable. The bar patrons are locals and also friendly. The restaurant section is bright, dropped ceiling and pizza ovens.

Decent place to stay in a town with limited option

The staff in the hotel and the restaurant /bar were very friendly and responsive. The room itself was comfortable, and it was nice having a fridge and kitchen sink. The beds werer also comfortable. The room itself was essentially clean but the carpet needs cleaning and/or replacement as it appeared dirty. Also, the coffee maker did not appear to be cleaned and any dishes in cupboards were very limited.

Easy no-contact check-in and check-out. Pleasantly surprised by the room, clean, but also the amenities such as refrigerator, microwave, liked the gym equipment. Right behind the restaurant that had live music at night. Relaxing. A little farther out for what we were in the area for, but rooms are hard to come by. Would definitely consider staying again. The price was right also.

This was a very nice hotel behind a very nice restaurant with the Susquehanna River across the road. It wasn't until the day before we left that we found out there's a whole town, a whole big town behind the place. Haha oh well next time. Pine gorge was awesome. I found a veeeery nice fossil of seashells on top of the mountain there.

It was adequate for the price. There is no lobby and no indication where or how to check in . We had to ask a waitress in the restaurant in front The room was large but temp control was not good and it was extremely hot . Appliances ran noisy . The lady who checked us in was nice and the rooms are large . We’d stay again as long as the prices don’t skyrocket

The room was okay overall. It had a decent-sized fridge, toaster, and coffee pot, which was convenient. However, the sheets were dirty—thankfully I had brought my own. The bathroom was clean, but the hand towels and bath towels were dusty. We decided to eat at the restaurant. The bartender was friendly and helpful, but the mixed drinks were very weak and poorly made. The pretzel sticks we ordered were still cold inside. While dining, we overheard much of the young wait staff openly complaining about various things. When our food was delivered the server dropped the small sour cream container for a baked potato on the floor and then handed it back to us instead of replacing it. Another waitress asked if we needed anything, but when we requested another drink, she simply said, “I can’t do that,” instead of relaying it to the bartender. Overall, the visit was very underwhelming. I can appreciate the small-town atmosphere, but the lack of attention to cleanliness, service, and food quality will have me choosing another place to stay next time.

Barely passable

I hate leaving lousy reviews, but aside from the woman who answered the phone who was very pleasant-was not a good stay. We arrived around 8:30 PM. No one was around so I called the number and the woman explained that the key to the room was in the room. The door was unlocked. The restaurant was closed for breakfast-even though the sign said they were open starting at 6 AM. We had a hard time finding the hotel. There was no sign with the name of the hotel on it anywhere that we could find. The room wasn’t bad, fairly clean. Virtually no water pressure in the shower, though. The room had A kitchenette with an apartment size fridge, microwave and full sink. There was one fork in the drawer. The common areas were in terrible shape.

We booked this place last minute so we can attend the Little League World Series. Overall it was ok… close location to Williamsport but still affordable (compared to the prices of hotels closer to the stadiums). The one major downside is that we arrived a little after 9pm and were very confused about check-in. We were staying in the hotel and the inn/restaurant was closed. The hotel itself does not have a main lobby/front desk. And there’s no signage for where we should go/what we should do. It at first seemed very sketchy but we weren’t too fearful because 2 other families were there from the LLWS trying to figure out the same thing. I finally called the hotel line and the woman said she was about to put our keys in our room. Instead she met us outside near one of the entrances. She was very nice. Overall the room size was great for our family of four. Loved that we had a kitchenette in our room. Bedding and furniture could use an update. I highly recommend adding signage or personnel for people checking in later (to be honest, I didn’t think arriving at 9:15 was too late for a hotel!).
