Pacific Monarch Hotel

The hotel is well situated, near shops & restaurants, and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Room was pleasantly large with great water views. The bed was very comfortable & the hotel was possibly one of the quietest I have ever stayed at, despite our room being located near the lifts. Could hear some street noise, but that’s to be expected. The only negative was due to the room being located on a higher level it was generally late in the afternoon before housekeeping tidied the room up, which sometimes was an issue. But all in all we enjoyed our 7 night stay & would definitely stay again.

Everything was absolutely great. Very close to Waikiki Beach. We walked to everything. ABC Stores were handy and convenient for sandwiches and drinks. Our accommodation was modern with oceans views and a covered balcony (lanai) as well as a full kitchen. Four adults shared the accommodation. We are planning to stay here the next we come to Waikiki.

Really good hotel. Great location, Great room. I just spent the last two months travelling around the USA, stayed at 15 different locations, ranging from 2.5 stars to 5 stars properties, this as definitely at the top of the list. The room is spacious, has a kitchen, a 4 seater dining table, a lanai (small balcony), lounge, proper bed, plenty of closet and pantry space). The hotel also has extra things which are included in the price like the PS3 in the room, movies and games to hire, pool and sauna, a rec room, beach towel hire and area shuttle. also there is a coin/credit card operated laundry. Customer service was great by every staff member I encountered. The only negatives would be that the free wifi is slow (no videos will play, but emails, facebook, etc), lifts are sometimes slow (because the building is so tall) and they probably need a few more washing machines in the coin-operated laundry as everyone seems to want to do their laundry at the same time.

We totally enjoyed staying at this hotel. The 28th floor afforded us great views and welcoming breezes when the large windows were opened. The room was large and the facilities very good. The location is excellent with everything within walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming

On our first night our toddler got bitten repeatedly by bed bugs. We have been to a doctor and had this confirmed. We reported it in the morning and got moved to a smaller reduced view room. Front desk staff were helpful in relocating us, however having an itchy, grumpy toddler who couldn’t sleep certainly impacted our holiday.

Good apartment size and position

Great location. Pleasant staff. Good security. Would have been better with slightly less furniture in room but overall good value for money.

Very nice apartment type rooms, central to most shopping requirements. Roof top pool a tad small, especially when people take huge pool accessories there because they can't swim, no shade either. Staff were friendly and approachable and helpful.

We stayed at the Aqua Pacific Monarch for 4 nights in June 2018. Although the accommodation is a bit old it met all our needs. It was spacious, had a full kitchen, seperate bedroom and a fantastic view! The air conditioner was quite noisy but it kept the place cool and worked well. We turned it off at nighttime and if needed to we just used the ceiling fan. The location is fantastic as its close to everything, beach, shops, buses etc. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this accommodation instead of a small motel room if you want the extra space and don't need 5 star accommodation and prices! We would be happy to stay here again.
