I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Seattle for a 2-day convention, and unfortunately, my experience was not great. The hotel feels quite old and run-down, and the parking garage seemed a bit unsafe and messy.
The staff, however, were friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was a nice touch. Just a heads-up—the hot water machine was extremely hot, and I ended up burning my thumb on it, so be cautious.
The surrounding area was a concern. We saw some questionable activity, and it didn’t feel like a safe place to walk around, especially during the day. There was also some noise from the floor above us late into the night, which made it hard to sleep.
Overall, while the staff were lovely, the condition of the hotel and the area made it a less-than-ideal stay. I’d recommend spending a bit more to stay somewhere that feels safer and more comfortable.
