Find Somewhere Else to Stay!
I booked a holiday for 5 people, including my parents who hadn't left Australia in 30+ years, I booked two twin rooms. When we arrived, I had an argument with the person on the desk who tried to convince me that my booking was only for 4 people and the 5th person would have to book a third room. I had to insist that my booking was clearly for 5 people in 2 rooms and I was not going to pay $1200AUD for a 3rd room, he finally checked the booking thoroughly and realised that I was correct. It was very concerning, if it had been my parents they would have relented and purchased the additional room. It makes me wonder how often they try to trick people into paying for accommodation they have already paid for. Though I clearly booked 2 twin rooms (two double beds in each), one room had only two singles and the other was a double and it took them 3 hours to bring a single "cot" bed into the room, it was so disappointing. It would have been considerably cheaper for me to book a room with a double and add an extra person "cot" rather than pay for two twin beds. How many other people are sold twin rooms and then being given single beds or just 1 double? With three people in the room coffee and tea was enough for only two cups, we did ask the person restocking the tea and coffee if we could have enough for three people but were told we would have to ask the reception desk first. Very disappointing. I have never had such a disappointing experience with a booking on

Poor 2.0
Disappointed with duty manager handling of matters
A/C was not cold after the 1st service. was asked to monitor, but still the same. called for technician again..was asked whether want to change other room. as old folk was resting therefore i just let go of the matter. Duty manager called up to room. didn't even apologise, only ask us to change room which technician suggested. if that the case..there isn't a need to hire manager as technician can even make suggestion. And was replied in rude way, asking me if not change room in the middle of the night then. I dont wish to talk much. So just let the matter rest. who knows..side table lamp keep blinking when we off the light. technician was being called again. solved, not long same problem with other side lamp , thot using same method should be able to solve, but didn't. technician being called. this time is a Chinese uncle. with a strong smoking smell. as we are non smoker .the moment he came in we could smell it...the smell was so strong..goodness..and keep repeating what the 1st technician already explained, and I did told him already followed, can't solve that's why call up technician..but the stench really can't we just said ok..will see how it goes. Duty manager never call to ask how's everything..poor service.. having this kind of duty manager..its a waste of time. not fit to be in service line.

Would not recommended!!
Stayed for 3 nights with 2 other couples. The hotel rooms are very old, have a funny smell in the hall way and rooms. We lived on the 8th floor and they don’t supply face towel, when my friend ask for face towels, they said only guest from 9th floor and up will have supply of face towel!!?? Also our room only comes with 1 bathrobe! The shower don’t come with a shower hose, and the shower head is not adjustable. You have to stand really close to the water taps to bath, and you have to constantly fighting with the shower curtain because with the air circulation, the shower curtain always stick to your body. At night, you can hears lot of funny noise came out from the air vent. There are hardly any electrical outlet, when you use a universal adapter, there’s a on off switch with the outlet and you can hardly fit the adapter. The courtesy bus only only goes out 4 times a day from 10am till 3 pm. You also have to book ahead to get the ride. Also the hotel lobby is under renovation and it’s really loud with jack hammering. Overall I would only rated it a 2-3 stars hotel, not even close to 4! I would not recommend it to any body for this hotel.

Older 'Grand lady' hotel
We stayed 8 nights with my 89 yo father and had joining rooms. An older 'Grand lady' style of hotel dated but in a very pleasing way. Has an elegance of earlier times. I believe the Furama would have been one of 'THE' hotels of note circa 1930's. We arrived early morning expecting to be told we could not check in until the mandatory 2pm however reception staff were obliging and helpful and after enjoying a buffett breakfast our rooms were available. The Furama, If you take the time to listen it speaks to you of an era past that I found facinating. I would be facinated to learn more of the history of this establishment. The breakfast buffet at $S18 per head is very reasonable and the selection available is generous. Room service is prompt and the menu is more than adequate for a nightime feed. well priced. The Furama is near to Clarke Quay and Chinatown and just a stones throw away from Marina Bay sands. All of the staff are genuinely helpful and attentive. The gentlemen at the concierge were always first to greet us upon our return at the end of our days outing, it felt like coming home. The restaurant staff were all pleasent and attentive and went that 'extra mile' to assist us, starting our new morning off on a positive foot.

Great value hotel
This was our second stay at this hotel. The first time we had the business package with the posh rooms and access to the club lounge. This time we went for the budget package. As we had joined the loyalty program, we were "upgraded" to the waterfall side of the hotel. The rooms are the same, but the access is from the waterfall cafe side and is much quieter and lifts are readily available. The room was a good size, pleasant but dated and very clean. I cannot fault the service in this hotel, all the staff are friendly and helpful and any requests are carried out straight away. The guys on the door are fantastic! Breakfast was not included, but on arrival we were offered a half price deal and we took it up on the days where we had early starts. Breakfast taken early is good, if you go later - then it is crowded and only ok. We would stay here again, but the only downside is that it is not near an MRT, so you have to either walk or take taxis. This is not expensive, but once the train extension is finished, it will make it a fantastic place to stay.
