We had a lovely stay in Ibsens hotel - the staff were very friendly and the location was fantastic. The only thing that could have been better would have been if we’d had a double bed rather than two singles pushed together. But we had a fantastic time and would stay in the hotel again!

Weekend stay
Our welcome was great. We had arrived at Ibsens before check in and stored our luggage in the luggage room. Our room was on the third floor with a 3/4 bed however the room could easily fit in a standard double. There were duvets and I believe they were weighted duvets so helped with a good nights sleep. Some of the fixtures on the wall were loose and therefore we did not hang anything on them just in case they fell off. The windows opened to provide ventilation and there was a European extension lead in the room for plugging in devices. Along with a small kettle, pencil and writing pad. The room mirror was towards the entrance door. This part would have benefited from more lighting. The shower room was on the small side and compact. The shower comes with a shower curtain and the sink was quite small. If the room was reconfigured and the shower room made even a foot bigger it would have made it more comfortable. Nevertheless, it was fine for a couple of nights and it didn’t bother us much at all. The location of the hotel was great within a few minutes of Norreport station (about 20minutes from the airport), newsagents, cafes and restaurants. Also in east reach to Malmo, Sweden for a morning or afternoon. Overall, we had everything we needed and didn’t lack anything for 2 nights. The hotel could just do some repairs here and there and think of some functionality to make it a little bit easier for guests.

Excellent hotel.
We have stayed here before, it is a very good hotel with excellent service. However, at this stay, we were slightly surprised with the price of the breakfast. It was a very grand breakfast, but it didn't really justify the price?
