We were put on the 5th floor not being told that construction was right above us. Friday evening until 7 was drilling. All day Saturday was drilling. Very disturbing. I did complain to front desk. We had 2 rooms 4 people. Should not have rented 5th floor with work on 6th. For new construction, the shower tile were broken and terrible patch job. Shower head was not secured behind wall, in turn made tub spigot not be secure. Electric switch in bathroom was on angle. At sink electric plug not flush. Sunday afternoon doors all open to lobby because of a caustic odor that lingered on every floor. Disappointed

We always stay in this area when we drive through. Never had any problems before but it would have been nice to know the hotel was under construction. It smelled like wet paint throughout the entire hotel, excavators and dust everywhere.
