Had a one night stay. Staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. The roads are a bit noisy but not to bad at night. Room was clean and tidy. Ate in the restaurant service was excellent and food very nice. Bar area had a dog friendly place to eat and dogs were allowed on terrace looking over the small lake. Saw a resident heron which was a nice treat. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return

Staff couldn't have been more helpful, breakfast was brilliant. We had some pushbikes with us we wanted to store and they helped with this where other places either wouldn't or wanted to charge fortunes. Breakfast was brilliant, usual cooked breakfast but with freshly baked bread for toasting or just eating.
