Overall a great stay
Overall very pleased with the hotel. Check in staff were friendly, rooms large and comfortable. One problem I had was that there was only a bedside table on one side of the bed and so I had to keep water, mobile phone etc on the floor next to me which isn't ideal. Also, the pool and changing rooms appear very dated and drab, in need of a make-over!

Great hotel very modern and well located. Nice room overlooking the castle. Parking not on site but close by but expensive at £29. Air conditioner not working properly or can’t down below 18. Complained and the window was opened slightly but a hot uncomfortable night. Spoiled the stay.

The pool and spa area was looking a little tired. Our hotel room was directly above 3 skips being loaded all day with old furniture. The windows also needed a locking key to open and shut which was only available by calling housekeeping ! Otherwise location and room quality and buffet breakfast was fine.

Checkin. Room did not have a fridge. Booked room based fridge availability. Fridge eventually delivered to room. Had to ask about it twice. The shower in the room did not work - no water. The bathtub had water but did not drain. A replacement room was not immediately offered. I had to ask for another room. I was advised the replacent room was not one of the renovated rooms. Replacement room fine. Bathtub slow to drain. Daily room care be housekeeping was good. Breakfast was good.
