I spent part of my teenaged years in Guelph so I used to know it quite well. The downtown seems to have deteriorated quite a bit but there are lots of things to see and do around the city.

I was looking forward to an evening walk in Eramosa River Park. It was creepy to walk along the path while hearing voices from the homeless camps in the woods.
"The property was old but for the price it was just fine. The young woman on front desk was really nice and helpful. Couldn't ask for a nicer person. Any of the other help were friendly and did their job quickly and well. Our room was clean and bedding comfortable. We enjoyed our stay."
