We arrived at the hotel at 0930, hoping we can just leave our luggages before going on a Chicago Architecture River Cruise. The gentleman at the desk stated that there is a room available and that we can get check in then. This was so appreciated. The hotel was the best part of our trip to Chicago. It's the perfect hotel for families with breakfast included and the swimming pool, not to mention the suite that was actually big enough for a family of 5. It's within walking distance of everything, including the L train to Wrigley Field if you want to catch a Cubs game. The staff was super helpful and proactive when we needed anything. The hotel was clean and safe with a 24/7 security guard. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others!

Hampton Inn & Suites on Illinois in downtown Chicago is a typical hotel. Our family of four only needed a two-bedroom room for a one-night stay, but it was a bit cramped. Check-in was straightforward, and Raul, one of the two welcoming staff members, assisted us. However, the other staff members were less friendly. The hotel is inviting when you walk in and clean.
