Great Classic Hotel
Great location and nice old style hotel. I may stay there again if I plan a future trip to SD.

Ewe. Ramada boo
Our stay at the Ramada was a fiasco from the start. First.parking was horrible. Their parking lot next door to their rundown, peeling paint, thrashy motel, is full of potholes. Ace parking collects the fees, which are $20 for 2 hours or 30 for 10 hours. I tried to buy a ticket for $30 for 10 hours and the machine took$25 and decided it wasn't going to accept my last $5. It kept the money and I did not receive a ticket to place on my dash so I would avoid the towing company. I tried to find somewhere a phone number for them and there wasn't one anywhere. I ended up having to download the Ace app and that was just as disappointing. I tried to call the number they listed with no answer. Then I tried to send an email to the address they listed and it was a dead.end. My husband ended up putting another $30 cash. I have no recourse and I am extremely disappointed with this place. Next, it took the elevator, which has not been updated since the 1920's 10 minutes to show up on the 7th floor. The two clerks at the front desk were less than friendly. I take that back. The one gentleman that originally checked me in was cool, but his partner was just plain rude. I will never ever come here again. Oh, and the coffee pot they had in my room was missing the drawer in front where there coffee is brewed. The fan over the bed is hung so high that you cannot possibly turn it on without risking your life standing on a chair to reach the chain that turns it on. I thought Wyndham was a little better

Very good 8.0
It was more affordable for being in the Gaslight District. Parking is difficult for free. I paid for street parking. After 6:30 PM to the morning it's free. Some meters are until 8 AM and others are 10 AM. Some days there is street cleaning.

Poor 2.0
Dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in
This hotel was extremely rundown and dirty. The windows were full of dirt and dust. Their were cracks in the ceiling. The price to park your car is outrageous. I’m will not be returning at all

Very Comfortable
The walls are thin and the elevators are a bit small. The hospitality was wonderful and Darien was very informative and friendly.

Too noisy
Too noisy (seriously really noisy almost unbearable) old air conditioning, noise from outside and from inside as well (pipes, people etc). Not very comfortable pillows (too thick and short). The hotel is really old and could benefit from renovations (specially noise proof windows).

Basic and centrally located
Very nice location but the condition of the hotel is not very good/minimal. In general it could be cleaner but ok, annoying that it’s even difficult to see out of the window due to the dirt. Most positive attributes: service at the reception, location and price (they have Very free coffee and tea at the hotel lobby)

Quirky hotel great location, spacious room
Hotel needs updates but great location and staff. Furniture in room was old, beds seemed newer and comfortable. Had two bedroom suite was spacious. Great downtown location. Walkable to restaurants. Staff super nice.
