Very dated and rundown....
This is not a good place -everything was either broken or dirty. As the images show the curtains were falling down, the aircon unit had wires exposed, the shower just shouldn't exist! That along with other things such as the glass wardrobe doors broken, thermostat loose on the wall. I'm not a particularly fussy traveller but this place was shockingly bad....

Poor 2.0
Hotel from Hell.
Apart from being run down and in complete need of a refurb, I find it unacceptable that it has a problem with Rats that has not been dealt with. Seeing a rat on the stairway was traumatic Ironically only used stairs as the lift built for one person was not working. Could not open door on 4th floor. Is there even a cleaner?? Paid £165 for one night. Was expecting standard level of comfort and cleanliness . Disappointed that this was not the case. Location perfect . This could be a great hotel if all of these problems sorted.

Would not recommend.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel. I didn't challenge the room we stayed in and I don't even know why. Now when I checked the booking confirmation I realise we were put in a much smaller horrible dated room. We booked a 12sq m room with a city view but in fact were settled in a 6-7sq m room with no view, you could barely walk around the bed. The hotel overall needs a full refurbishment, carpets throughout the hotel are disgusting and old. We paid €600 for 3 night, and it's absolutely shocking what we received for it, an absolute rip off. It's a lesson for me for the future. If something doesn't feel right - challenge it.
