The toilet seat was broken. The shower handle was broken meaning my children struggled to shower independently and then didn’t want to use it again. The sink didn’t drain quickly meaning we had to leave 10 minutes between us each brushing our teeth. There was a power cut on Saturday night. At 1.30pm whilst asleep a man and another person unlocked our room door and started to enter. I'm unsure why his key worked for our room. As a female staying alone with two children this was very traumatic and both the children were then distressed for the remainder of the night. When leaving our bags after checking out we expected them to be locked away safely but instead they were left in an open room that anyone could access.

Pros:
- staff seems friendly
- they clean the rooms every day
- location is amazing, few blocks from the Vatican
- neighborhood safe and quiet at night
- near good eateries
Cons:
- hotel room is very barebones, which would have been find had it been maintained well. The walls have water damage as well as scuffs.
- the ac is weak.
- the bathroom is like a permanent sauna
- there are ZERO amenities
- shower head broken
- the over all hotel is not maintained well
- made us pay for tourist fee in cash but booking online said fee welcome by card.

A little upgrade(perhaps bathroom?) would equate to the price we paid for.

As a Canadian I'm just used to super friendly staff. They were ok.
Our AC was dripping water and it was right above one of the bed's foot area. We just told them at the check out bec we didn't want to bother moving room if anything.
Hotel is 10min walk from St Peter's and the breakfast buffet was good.

It is a convenient location close to Vatican. Nice and friendly staff. However, the AC stops from 3-6am which makes the room unbearable to sleep.

They turn off the AC everynight. Not a very good idea when you are i t rh middle of a heatwave.
Make sure you pack clothes that do not need ironing as they do not provide irons.
Rooms need updating.
Breakfast was adequate and free.
Location is a short walk to Vatican City and swveral restaurants.

Quite far from the city centre but close to the Vatican City, the breakfast is rather basic, everything is cold. Not impressed at all.
