It's okay.
Friendly staff. The hotel is dated, dingy and dirty. The furniture in our room was well worn and falling apart. The building and rooms are in need of some TLC. We had to cut our trip short and return home due to a family emergency, the hotel managment refused to give us a refund on the nights we didn't stay.

Our Go-To place.
The Beacon is our go-to place to stay in DC. The staff is so nice. The location is great for walking. The rooms are spacious. Beds are comfortable.

Great stay
He hotel was very convenient location wise and we booked a bigger room for three separate adults so there was also plenty of spaces to sleep. Overall, our stay was excellent. The only thing that I didn’t like was the small tub and weak shower head. Otherwise everything was excellent.

As advertised - wouldn’t stay here again.
The hotel was in a great location for our needs. It was as advertised. However, the bathrooms were old and there was spots that looked like mold. Also the doors and windows are SO thin. You could hear literally every word if someone was outside the door. Service was great and all employees were super friendly and helpful.
