Great hotel except for WiFi
Very nice hotel, friendly, helpful staff, very comfortable room. Our only issue is the decision to offer free WiFi in the lobby but only in the rooms if guests pay more. As Bonbvoy members, our room WiFi was free but what a hassle to connect! Three attempts to have the system recognize the combination of room # and name. This makes no sense; even basic hotels offer free wifi throughout so in this sense the Westin is behind the times.

Exorbitantly high misc fees
The hotel itself is very nice. It is very well decorated, comfortable and inviting. The rooms were decently sized and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant and bar were pretty nice. Definitely was a good stay. My main gripe is the surprise fees. It is to be expected that there will be a parking fee at many locations but this hotel feels more like a gouge. They charge $55 for parking per night!!! That is double what I have ever paid for parking. Being a captive audience I begrudgingly agreed to pay it. THEN they tried to charge $15 for WIFI in the room. It was free if you used it in the lobby. Needless to say I was not happy to pay nearly an additional 30% of the room cost in misc fees. Shame on me for not doing my homework ahead of time but even though the hotel was pretty nice, we will not be returning.
