About Treasure Island

Treasure Island opened in 1993 and featured its namesake pirate show in front of the resort. The original idea focused on family entertainment with the pirate attraction and an arcade. It has since grown to a full-fledged spa, casino, and resort experience geared towards adults. It features 2,884 rooms, 95,000 square feet of gaming space.

Over the years, several different pirate-themed live shows have been held to promote the resort. The last of these closed in 2013. Today the big spectacle attractions are Cirque du Soleil performances and a Marvel-themed attraction, the retail-themed Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
