Kuta's nightlife scene comes alive once the sun sets over the Indian Ocean, with its wealth of bars, clubs, and sunset chill-out spots not far from the popular coast. Some of the most popular Kuta nightspots are modern clubbing venues that stay open until dawn. Others include bars that transform into party hubs with dance floors and resident DJs spinning their beats to a play of colourful lasers.

You’ll find great spots along Jalan Kartika Plaza and on the main beach street of Jalan Pantai Kuta. Here, we’ve picked out the top spots in Kuta for those looking for a great time to drink, dance and party the night away.

Bounty is one of the legendary nightspots in along the Kuta-Legian strip, famous for holding ‘wet n’ wild’ parties and attracting young Aussie partygoers who are holidaying in Bali. Also fondly called the ‘Bounty Ship’, this one-stop entertainment complex comprises its expansive main discotheque venue, a restaurant and a bar.

Past midnight, the real action starts with overflowing decks, and crazy couples go ahead and replace the sexy dancers doing their thing inside human-size ‘bird cages’. The live entertainment varies nightly, ranging from live percussions, foam parties, free drinking and pool competitions, fashion shows, go-go dancers and drag queens lip-synching to Whitney Houston and Dolly Parton.
