Warm and comfortable port in a storm
The staff are outstanding!! Very friendly and efficient! The lobby was especially warm and inviting with the fire and holiday decorations. The free coffee, etc was a very nice touch! Breakfast room was spotless and the offerings were ample! Fresh fruit, many cereal and bread options, boiled eggs, yogurt. We arrived during a snowstorm, and our room was cold, so we needed the heat on full blast for the entire stay.

Housekeeping ruined our plans to sleep until 9 am
This hotel has ample parking for large vehicles. The front desk people were very helpful and the check-in was quick. We would give it below average rating though because the bathroom was not clean and most importantly, even though we had a “Do Not Disturb” sign on our front door, Housekeeping” started loudly beating on our door at around 8:15 am. We would not stay here again because of housekeeping’s total disregard our “Do Not Disturb” sign on the front door and the dirty bathroom.

Friendly staff, reasonably clean rooms. Missed really clean by the details (corners, rusty fridge). Facility definitely needs a bit more upkeep, as the door security latch was broken (room 204 if staff is paying attention). Location was kinda crappy though, right between the train tracks and I90. I mean right beside both of them! Trains weren't too noisy, but the rough pavement made every passing tractor trailer rattle like thunder. Not the most restful night!!

This is an older hotel that’s had some upgrades Needs a a bit more but it’s clean and convenient and comfortable. The staff are right on top of everything we had difficulties with our tv and they came right up and figured out the problem. Housekeeping are super friendly. Breakfast was minimal but at least they have one. I’d stay again.

The property and room were excellent. What really impressed me was the Gal at the front desk was wonderful when I asked if I could check in early as I arrived well before 3:00. She bent over backwards to accommodate me which doesn’t happen everywhere. By checking in early it allowed me to attend an event on time 40 miles away. Throw in the fact the hotel is at the end of the ramp off I-90, this is the best hotel in Herkimer!
