Super comfy beds
The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed.

The hotel is in first rate condition, room had a view of the canals and as it’s not a touristy are, git a perfect nights sleep: I’m only giving the area four out of five because to tell the truth, there’s not much there beyond a couple of bars and a couple of restaurants that seemed to close early (if you want something to eat, dine early, I couldn’t find anywhere close to the hotel to go to after nine in the evening)

Well appointed, excellent location, big car park (for which the entrance is stupidly narrow- but this isn’t the hotel’s fault). The rooms are well appointed and the restaurant is wonderfully over a walkway which for which it and the restaurant are picturesque.
